Welcome to Dynamic Dialog :: Altering Outcomes

Marty Stanley has such a playful, inquisitiveness in her voice when she gives a speech or presentation that makes it most memorable.  And, people are compelled to take action and change their behavior when they leave.

Managing Multiple Priorities:

It’s the human element that makes you so good at this.  Sometimes presenters can inadvertently make you feel inadequate as if they do it right all the time and have all the answers. You made it clear to us that it’s a work in progress. That is liberating and makes you more likely to want to try. Keep doing what you do. You ROCK!.

Facilitation Feedback

Marty genuinely was interested in what we did, how we did it and who our partners were. I was impressed with her personality, her energy and enthusiasm. She pushed us and encouraged us as we went through a two-month process of discovery and renovation. The end result: a collaborative process with board and staff members and an aggressive plan that we can accomplish in the next three years.

Months later, a struggling association of community development corporations, of which BHCS is a member, was discussing whether we should continue to exist, and if so, why. We questioned the value of the association and what benefits it provided the membership. Should we continue? I recommended to the CDA that Marty lead us in a strategic planning day to help us answer our questions, decide if we should continue, and if so, how. Marty brought inspiration, foresight and enthusiasm to the group – and the hard truth. We got through that day, in a blur, but the CDA emerged as a united front to combat neighborhood preservation and revitalization and to work toward the benefit of its membership. Today we are achieving the goals that we identified as important to us. We're successfully recruiting new membership and we have a strong leadership team.
